Somewhere, Richard Hatch is throwing darts at a picture of Glen Larson, and possibly burning him in effegy, but I couldn't care less, because the mini-series *rocked*. In no specific order:
- I want to marry Starbuck. She's got Dirk Benedict's cigar chomping swagger *down*. And she kicks so much butt.
- The old theme being played during the de-commisioning ceremony? Lovely touch.
- The new Baltar. Less evil, more angst.
- Number 6. Way cooler than the imperious leader. But snapping the infant's neck? Could they have found a more obvious way to draw a big arrow and yell "Look! she's Eeeevil! Bad person over here!"?
- Tension between the military and civilian government. 'Cause, y'know, that never happens in real life. Snerk.
- I'm in a tiny bit of denial over Boomer, 'cause does she even *know* what she is? (Thinking about the bit about sleeper agents here.)
- The sacrificed firefighters? God*damm*it pepole - that just hit me in the stomach and made me all sniffley.
