Happy Holidays

I hit this point every year, where my thoughts start to center around all the folks I haven’t seen or talked to in a long time, or that I just don’t talk to enough. People I miss, and some people I wish I didn’t miss so much. Maybe you know who you are, maybe you don’t (I haven’t always been the greatest at letting people know I cared).

To all of you… happy holidays. Many hugs. Be safe, be sane…. remember that you are remembered.

Wheeee…. new car!

Yup, finally found one. You’d think it wouldn’t be that hard, living in the freaking *land* of the used car lots, but between work and sucky, nasty used car salesmen… it took a while. Long enough that my insurance agent started hinting that I should just cancel my policy. Hhrmph.

Bill is beyond thrilled that he doesn’t have to drive us into work anymore… can’t say I blame him.

Unintentionally funny headline of the day

Gabriel passes on Genesis reunion – so I stared at this for a full miniute before I realized they were talking a bout a rock band reunion (and though I’m fond of Peter Gabriel, I like his solo work better, and prefer Genesis with Phil Collins) because for those first few monents, all I could think, was…. “an Archangel’s going to snub a reunion in the garden of Eeden?”

My brain is a very strange place.
