Did anyone else know that there was a Lake Rutherford over in High Point State Park? For people who are not members of my family, this is my mom’s maiden name. In a state park practically spitting distance form where I grew up. Which would not account for much, except that my grandparents moved to the area in the late forties (I think) and everything in the area that was fit to have a name was already well and stuck with a name by that point. Especially things like lakes.

When spring hits (as opposed to this spring-like cocktease we’ve got going now) I am planning a trip.

Teen Titans
in spite of the really annoying theme song, this one is growing on me. But, ever since the World’s Biggest Retcon (AKA, Identity Crisis) I find that seeing Dr. Light getting his ass kicked? Gives me major creeps.

Love what they’re doing with Raven. Still not sure if I like their take on Robin.

Battlestar Galactica
The new crack - my only complaint being that I get a paltry single hour a week. Friday’s ep was a gorgeous homage to two classic episodes, and confirmed my initial theory that the fighters were’t ships so much as purpose built drones. Cool. Icky, but cool.

Carnivale
Not sure if I agree with Paige’s theory that Sophie is the final Usher, but I’m so hooked I don’t care who the real bad guy turnes out to be.
