Yup, finally found one. You’d think it wouldn’t be that hard, living in the freaking *land* of the used car lots, but between work and sucky, nasty used car salesmen… it took a while. Long enough that my insurance agent started hinting that I should just cancel my policy. Hhrmph.
Bill is beyond thrilled that he doesn’t have to drive us into work anymore… can’t say I blame him.
Interesting commercial put out by Dove. Lotsa work to get that “perfect” billboard shot.
Gabriel passes on Genesis reunion - so I stared at this for a full miniute before I realized they were talking a bout a rock band reunion (and though I’m fond of Peter Gabriel, I like his solo work better, and prefer Genesis with Phil Collins) because for those first few monents, all I could think, was…. “an Archangel’s going to snub a reunion in the garden of Eeden?”
My brain is a very strange place.
A Sshakespeare MMOG, specifically set in/around Richard III. Woot!
And I realy can’t blame them. This is a little family owned amusement park a few towns over from where I grew up. It’s run by nice, decent folks. I worked there for a summer.
The only thing that surprises me about the accident is that it took this long to happen. Seriously. Gun saftey was not something that was *ever* discussed in my hearing during my stint up there… and yeah, I was in a few shows *where guns were fired*. Not that I was worried about saftey at the time…I was 20. What the hell did I care? I was immortal.
My heart goes out to the Harris family…. no one should have to go though that. Bill was aghast that any entertainment venue could get away with such lax to nonexistant saftey codes, and the only thing I could come up with was that… this is Sussex County. And up there, if you’ve been around for decades… it’s not (quite) about croneyism but folks just don’t think that there could be a problem. Because it’s always been there, and there’s never been a problem, so why worry? Things just get grandfathered in.
Female, yes. Human…. not this time.

Faces
Aaaaand… back to women. Big surprise.

Don’t know if I’ll be selling this one at the show or not…. doesn’t feel quite done yet. That’s one of the perilous weaknesses of working digital. I’m not beholden to paint’s drying time, or paper’s fragility. I can go back to any piece and revise myself straight into crazy-land. I’ve been coming back to this one for about three months now, and I’m still not sure what else it needs. Just that it needs something.
