Well hell - this is a fairly interesting thought experiment.

The Olympics have been held in unpopular places before. They will be held in unpopular places in the future. Screaming, protesting, and boycotting (looks over that the Moscow games) does a hell of a lot less good than *going* to them and beating the pants off all comers. (looks at the Berlin games)

As for the games *now* (looks at China)…

I don’t know what the hell to say. Other than the sturm und drang und screaming seems to be doing *nothing* constructive.

I completely blame Bonnie and Mark for introducing me to Exalted. :)

Since switching over to hostican, I’ve noticed that the amount of spam I’m getting has *plummeted*. From 100-200 pieces per day, I’m down to less than 20. My email address hasn’t changed, so I’m guessing that hostican’s spamblockers are just that good. Or something.
