The next time my dentist offers to write me a prescription for some stronger than average pain pills (after he’s had to give me a third Novocain shot half way though the visit) I will not try to be a Brave Girl and make vague noises about doing just fine with a nap and a bottle of Advil. Twenty minutes after I got out of the office, my face and jaw were hurting worse than my last sinus infection; and 24 hours later, it still feels like I got clocked in a fight.
Two more visits over as many weeks to get a new crown, and I’m just hoping that my front tooth (and part of the roof of my mouth) isn’t gonna hurt for the rest of the month…
Also, I’m even less fond of medical lasers now that I’ve had one used on the inside of my mouth.
